New Computer

Well, it finally happened..  I got myself a new laptop.  It has a 17" screen, 2 HD (320 GB and 750 GB) a DVD recorder, built in fingerprint security reader, 2GHz i7 processor, 16 GB of ram.  It has a built in web cam and mic.  It came preinstalled with Ubuntu 11.04.  (no microsoft tax)  It was made by the fine folks at System76.com.  You should check them out.  Anyway I gave my old laptop to my son.  Talk to you later.

hulu plus

Hulu plus is finally available on my droid! Yes! Now I can watch my tv shows and movies on my phone.

Military School - Water Purification.

While we were setting up the ROWPU (Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit) One of my classmates found a dead Jerusalem bug.  That thing was big, take a look: (no camera tricks on this one.)

Water Treatment, Port Hueneme.

I am taking a water treatment class at Port Hueneme, CA.  Since I am a utilitiesman in the navy, they send me to all these classes that teaches this stuff.  I will be posting pictures and videos of everything so far.  Stay tuned!

Kid History.

I found some pretty hilarious videos today.  I was on youtube, and typed in Kid History, and up popped some very funny videos about kids telling these stories, and the adults act them out.  It is really funny.  one of the lines is: "If you buy one completo, it is only one dollar, but if you buy 2 completos, it is $2... etc."  you should watch it.  Here is episode one:

New blogs

I started 2 new blogs today.  One is called trucking dude.  And the other is called Doctor Who... did you say?  The trucking dude will be videos and pictures of places that I go on my drives across the country.  Doctor Who... did you say? will be for fans of Doctor Who, both the classical dr. who, and the new ones.  It will have video clips and reviews of each of the episodes.  Watch that spot, and you might see a full length video of doctor who.  Well, caio!!

UPDATE!

According to Covenants medical doctor, if I am taking medicine to keep my A-Fib under control, and can give them documentation to back it up, they see no reason to forbid me from going back to orientation in california. That will be so cool. Here is a picture of one of their trucks:

So, while I was at the covenant orientation, they found out that I have a heart issue. It was a A-fib. So they sent me back home to get it taken care of. My dad is looking into going truck driving. Hopefully since the cardiologist can't find anything wrong, he will clear me to get back on the road.

job!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy. Anyway, I am working now, and I am so happy about that. I have downloaded a new app for my droid phone that let's me post to this blog without going to blogger. It is so convenient. Now I can post while I am on the road. I will post pictures of different places we go to.
